With this reel kit for the 2.0 TFSI high pressure pump, the vulnerability of the EA113 engine can be reliably eliminated.

With this conversion kit, the bearing surface of the cam is significantly larger than that of the original pump stem. The optimum distribution of forces results in less friction and reduces the shearing forces to one point. A defective pump stem can damage the cam. As a result, the intake camshaft must be completely replaced. Arisen spears may fall into the sump and damage the balance shaft module. This damage can result in engine damage.

The conversion kit also improves the pump piston guidance and prevents the high-pressure pump from leaking. The fuel can enter the oil circuit via a leaking shaft seal of the high-pressure pump. The oil loses the lubricating property and it creates a Pleuellagerschaden.
